Lot 36

It takes a while to get things truly going, but Blake Nelson carries us through until shit finally hits the fan in the last minutes with a brutally beautiful lots-of-tentacles demon monster.

Would have been better without the ham-fisted racial stuff, but there's some effective creepiness towards the end.

The main character is a bigot. So you can see why Netflix gave him an hour long special.

Decent production, and Tim Blake Nelson does okay playing the deserving wretch, but the overwhelming amount of cliches bodes ill for the rest of the series.

The script is so incredibly weak it turns this somewhat interesting story into a drab mess. The directing is decent though, but that script really brings it all down so much. The dialogue alone...
