His sexual politics may seem outdated, but Louis is still pumping out original, thoughtful, and hilarious (properly hilarious) material, on a very good consistent basis. Still able to shock and provoke, not only with dick and tit jokes, but with his cynical, amusingly explained world-view.

Fun. I had maybe the worst day ever, and it really helped me to survive. Thank you, Louis.

Better than Live at the Beacon Theatre for sure

I love how much Louie writes because this leads to him releasing lots of specials and we all get to see how much more of a fat piece of shit he's become in a relatively short amount of time.

First fifteen minutes had me wondering if Louis has started to slip a little bit. Still relatively same old Louis CK topics (shock value/his kids/divorce/race) but his ability to story tell with such grotesquely vivid analogies always leaves me in tears from laughter by the end. Best fucking comedian there is right now.

Another solid special, but nonetheless far from his best material.

Pretty much the best way to start your day at 6am after another sleepless night. Observational comedy has become so endemic among stand-up comedians, it's easy to forget how hard it is to do it really well but Louis taps into the minutiae of everyday life with a keen eye and hilarious observations about various topics such as fountain-sculptors, road rage, boobs, and that fucking phone you refuse to put away when your daughter serenades the audience with her latest rendition of Over the Rainbow.

His newest special is worth the money. This was the money one right? Shit if I remember.

Louis the ultimate realist is always worth a watch. This isn't his best but he's better than 95 percent of working comics.

I'm not sure what to think of his new approach of more content and less jokes. Entertaining, but not really that funny.

When he gets on a roll with his jokes he is laugh out loud funny, and his "controversial" jokes never seem forced like some comedians. Not his best but it's damn good.

It sounds like Louis has been watching some Discovery channel & read through a few classic novels since his last special. There's still that common man Louis truth that he naturally and invariably taps into. The finale is solid. Prediction: Some physics jokes and Freud cropping up in the next special. Then shit will start getting Hicks-like and we can all, as one, explore outer space.

by this time we all know what we're in for. the show flows well, but just when it really starts cooking, it stops. he could've done a killer 15 minutes off the back of the last bit and make it really memorable, but he settled for just another quality special. which is OK, at this rate he's headed for a carlinesque streak of quality shows

One of my least favorite of his specials but that's still pretty good comparatively. The driving chunk was my favorite.

I wasn't as big a fan of this as I was his Beacon Theater special, but there are several fantastic bits, and as usual he saves the best for last.

Most over-rated comic ever. His thing is so simple. Talk some about asshole, shit, sex, holocaust and gays and get paid another few millions. His content is worthless, but delivery is good, also, him being fat makes everything he says much funnier.

Louis C.K. returns to form for his latest release, musing over a number of issues (including murder, divorce, of course...but maybe) that are even funnier if you share his perspective. The first 15-20 minutes are distinctly average and you start to fear he's got complacent, but then he hits his mark and continues to provide consistent laughs for the remainder of the performance. Dunno about that 360-degree venue though.

I really liked this one. He shook off a lot of the depressing tone he was starting to inject into his more recent work and I thought this was a great bounce-back from that. He's one of the best comics out there and it shows.

As any review will tell you, he takes you to "dark" and "grotesque" places. For me, he said some really sick things to the point that I decided not to finish watching. I don't think I offend very easily, I grew up watching Eddie Murphy, et.al., with no problems. They say "he says the things we're all thinking". I've read that other comedians have admitted that they don't think those things either. I've saw Chewed Up and wasn't impressed. Guess Louis C.K. just isn't for me.

Seen: 3. You know what you are getting from Louie every time. Polished, perverted observations. Courtyard, bag of leaves, food chain, tits, of course/but maybe.
