More of a typical two-part episode than its predecessor, this benefits from some nice support work from Crenna and a typically well-modulated performance by Lansbury; a tougher edge also distinguishes this, with the ultimate denouement played for some genuinely tragic emotion. Still limited by design in its scope and impact, but does show an effort to make Jessica's adventure at least a little cinematic.
