Never has a movie made me so angry. It felt as if my mind was being raped by an overweight panda whose breath reeked of eucalyptus and Chinese deer penis. I kept looking over my shoulder, expecting to be accosted by a cadre of espresso-sipping, croissant-nibbling beatniks snapping their weather-worn fingers in time after every line. Shame on you Criticker for recommending this to me--ME who gave Total Recall a 100.

Anthropomorphic existential sitcom as a depiction of some kind of Purgatory. Inexplicably horrifying stuff. I wouldn't recommend binging it though, unless you enjoy a good all-inclusive medical plan.

Completely and utterly awesome, however incomplete. The closest to hell I hope to ever be.

there are modes of thinking in which i might be inclined to think this is a work of genius. excruciatingly slow yet scary to the point of questioning your own existence, this dead-as-a-doornail juxtaposition exposes the absurdities of that repetitious, soul-destroying thing known as everyday life. or at least that's what i'd like to believe, as i'd rather not come to terms with the supposed ugly truth that i've spent nearly an hour staring at total masturbation.

Made by a man tired of the diarrhea that comes out of the tv. i could appreciate it and laughed a bit, till it became slow and boring itself. however, a funny parody.

I like the idea and the strange music and ambient sounds like trains in the distance or whatever, but as it seems to be an exercise in absurd monotony it... er, well, succeeds at that. It's really not that long, so if you aren't so ADD-addled that you're not offended by several minutes of boredom or bewilderment, you might like this, too.

Fascinating and creepy short film; Lynch shows us a conception of Hell that is quite frightening and one that locks those who are trapped within to the monotonous and mundanity of daily life. Worth checking out if your a David lynch fan or enjoy experimental cinema.

Anthropomorphic rabbits in a live audience sitcom setting have out of sequence conversations (may cause headaches) and (possibly) engage in a little devil worship... or it could be aliens. All of this sounds like more fun than it actually is.

[Original segments] - Weird-Lynch with a pet-project that has some carrots, but snapshots of a solution from this puzzle isn't as fascinating as the origin WTF-is-he-thinking probably is, and there are more worthy Lynch-weirdness to visit and revisit than this one. *Preview*: #13#, exp-3*, creator Lycnh/3, Naomi.W/10, R3.

So David Lynch decided that periodic idiocy (relative...the whole thing was idiotic) isn't enough in Inland Empire, so he concentrates it.

This is on youtube, somewhere. I recommend checking it out. At times it's so confusing that you may get bored, but stick with it anyways. I watched it at 3 in the morning with all of the lights off, and it scared the shit out of me,

Frightening. The characters seem to be trapped inside a time bubble, condemned to go through their monotonous lives forever. the mindfuck moments aren't as scary as the laugh tracks and sparse, disjointed dialogue. It hardly means anything outside its own context, which could be considered a flaw and a strength at the same time.

Bastante extraña y puede parecer sin sentido, lo unico que puedo decir es que es realmente perturbadora te mantiene al borde del panico todo el tiempo un gran uso del vestuario y en 1 sola sala todo sucede.

One of the more "esoteric" David Lynch films aside from Eraserhead. This is Lynch experimenting with mood, lighting, and sound again building up a surreal world where you're not exactly sure what's happening. It's hinted that the rabbits are lab experiments but that's about it. There is almost a trance like quality to their daily life and their musing about who they are. It's like the Far Side combined with a bad drug trip. Not everyone's cup of tea but fun to watch.

This mini-series works better as snippets within Inland Empire. On its own, it starts out creepy and unusual, but soon grows tedious as you wait for the monotony to be broken up with the occasional curveball. There are probably mysteries to be explored here, but unlike most Lynch films, I feel no desire to pursue them.

Impossibly hypnotic. I hear train whistles in my sleep thanks to this. Definitely the best thing Lynch has done this decade.

Everything in Rabbits feels like Lynch...every cut every sound every moment. Rabbits has an undescribable threateningly atmosphere that goes deep. If you like lynch you will love those short Movies that fits perfectly in Inland Empire as short snippets. (The indirect lighting is the same as in most Lynch movies like lost highway or mulholand drive for example )

It's monotonous, but I guess that's (a part of) the whole point. Just like in so many of Lynch's movies I freaked out a bit without knowing why.

Not enough variation for this to be fully engaging, but it's still pretty damn creepy and works well as a missing piece of a puzzle called Inland Empire.

For me to have sat through this is a testament to my patience and love for David Lynch. I did really like the atmosphere and the creepiness of it all but girl... this did not need to be 40 minutes long, c'mon now.
