Return to the Batcave: The Misadventures of Adam and Burt

Much, much better than you'd expect.

I've got a lot of nostalgia for the 60s Batman series, but this is pretty dire.

The flashback scenes interpreting the behind-the-screen creation of the Batman TV series show how this could have been ordinary but of interest. Sadly the whole film is exceptionally awkward and grimace inducing. It's also sad to see some of the actors in this, especially Julie Newmar and Frank Gorshin, try to keep some integrity to something that feels cheap and aimless. It's clear how bad this'll be when the DVD menu has a terrible rap remix of the original theme tune playing over it.

So fun!
