Forgotten TV show with great premise and middling execution. Swapping out of the main cast with limited explanation distracted from the story. First episode was compelling, subsequent episodes were full of tropes. Reminders of other TV sci-fi were clearly evident, apparently due to DC Fontana of Star Trek fame being the story editor. Perhaps the last attempt to bring science fiction to television before Star Wars changed everything.
