The Jean Arthur Show

This only lasted 12 episodes, and that's a shame, because I've seen one, and it was a very cute show- but then, of course it was, since it starred Jean Arthur! She is my favorite movie star, and when I saw this show, I was reminded of why. It was so innocent and light, in a time when that kind of cuteness was beginning to be looked at cynically. Jean gave an interview in 1972, and indicated she thought the show was a mistake. But, I think it was cause she'd been burned by bad press. Good show.
