An important historical figure indeed. I had already heard the Janet Cooke saga before, but didn't mind hearing about it again.

First rate overview of a fascinating life is another in a series of meat-and-potatoes documentaries that are elevated by their subject matter - well-chosen interviewees and archival footage create a compelling, not too hagiographic portrait of Bradlee, inevitably highlighted by his involvement in the release of the Pentagon Papers and Watergate investigation (which are both well-told here).
