A rare short by Satyajit Ray. A privileged boy looks out his window and sees a much more unfortunate lad playing. He sets out to crush the poor boy's fun. Ray tells the tale entirely without dialogue, and as usual, uses music very effectively. Short but very worthwhile... unfortunately the copy I saw was of abysmal quality, but maybe it'll end up as a DVD extra some day.

Jesus, como um filme tão curto pode ser tão efetivo na representatividade da luta de classes? Só de olhar para a cara daquele burguesinho maldito você sabe que eventualmente ele merecerá uma coça com o desenrolar do filme, mesmo porque você sabe que muitas dessas crianças perversas polimorfas continuarão as mesmas quando crescerem emparedados em seus condomínios de luxo.
