Wizards of Waverly Place

Disney execs circa 2007: Looks like Harry Potter is all the rage right now. We should capitalize on this. I know, we'll make a shitty show about wizards. Kids fucking love wizards. What's that? A Script? Useless...we'll just mash some shit up over the weekend and hire some teenage girl who can't act. What's this? She can't sing either.....perfect!

This is about the ceiling for Disney Channel shows, but it's quite good for what it is. I really enjoyed the family dynamics present throughout the entire show's run, especially because it depicts parents struggling with teenagers in a less slanted light than many others choose to do.

Harper's clothes and the theme song are kind of good. The rest is shit

Disney wanted wizards and they created a show with wizards. I barely remember what happened at all but I don't remember it being terrible.
