City of Missing Girls

Typical independent production of the early-40s, with little to offer except for some pulp fiction of the blond slavery variety. A very sleazy Philip Van Zandt help get the message across. The good side isn't any worse from a team effort. Also old Sarah Padden deserves a mention. But regardless of solid performances for such a cheap release, the film doesn't offer anything more than what an ordinary poverty row flick does.
