Kill Me Please

Kill Me Please is more ambitious and interesting than a lot of "better" movies. Its choppy, vignetty structure repeatedly inflates an individual scene with dread before deflating the overall film's momentum. In this way, most beats of the film--and the sometimes puzzling behavior of its characters--remain fascinating, but any sense of suspense is short-lived and any hope of resolution to the central mystery fizzles out well before the ambiguous final shot.
