When the Bough Breaks

this movie had the seediest trailer, I'm flummmmmoxed. Sitting here watching it I'm an hour in, "no one has even said "damn" yet what is going on ..." PG ugh I wanted Black Fatal Attraction, I hate having things taken away from me. You could watch this with your grandma it's the tamest erotic thriller, the only thing thrilling that'll happen is you'll go a little red when grandma says "colored".

When the Bough Breaks is a horrible excuse for a movie, one that never even begins to work, let alone deliver any thrills. Its plot is silly, its script is idiotic, its characters are paper thin, and it can't generate suspense to save its life. Jaz Sinclair makes for a terrible choice as the villain, while Morris Chestnut and Regina Hall can't do much with their nothing characters - but at least they have screen presence. We deserve better than this

When the Bough Breaks is a strange film. It's a surprisingly positive depiction of a couple's deep, faithful love for one another. But when the manipulative, violently unbalanced young woman they've chosen to be their baby's surrogate reveals her true colors, things get seriously weird. (pluggedin.com)
