Story about the prototype of film camera constructed by blacksmith in the half of XIX century. 100 years later it's destroyed in the fire. Young boy tries to reconstruct it against his father's will.

Naturally they want to hire locals with gloomy faces as 'extras' and this wry film examines the nature of stereotypes and how two different cultures are drawn closer together in spite of their differences.
