This is the story of a Mojave from the reservation struggling to make a living and support his family. He ends up in L.A. trying unsuccessfully to find a job. Finally, in desperation, he attempts a mugging. In the emotion of the moment, he stabs and kills the victim. He struggles to deal with this crime and keep away from the police.
