Two young entrepreneurs from Warsaw wanted to start up manufacturing of Italian scooters in Poland but they needed money in order to get things going. After the bank refused to provide them with a loan, they thought their whole plan would never work out. (imdb comments)

The film tells a story of two scrap pickers - the title hero Edi and his friend Jureczek. Edi is wrongly accused of having raped the girl whose brothers have got the control over one of the city areas. Edi is severely punished for that but he accepts his fate taking care of the girl's child. (imdb)

Karol is a newcomer to the class and instantly called "sissy". He makes himself disliked by correcting his classmates and eating sandwiches, while everybody else eats dry bread and onions. He tries to make friends with class bully called Balon, and eventually succeeds. The group uses him to steal lollipops and later for an assault on a small child. (imdb)

Series for young people, undertaking significant educational problems, characteristic of so-called environments difficult youth. The heroes of the film - four boys and a girl aged 12-14 - are in constant conflict with the social order; they are only a step away from the hooligan lifestyle. The film indicates the need for young people's ideals, noble myths and patterns of behavior. The embodiment of the heroes' dreams is the romantic character of Tolek Banan.
