The title "Life doesn't scare me" tells a lot about this movie. We follow how four ordinary little girls, then teenage girls (the movie took several years to shoot so the actresses could grow up), learn about life, love and all that sort of things. (imdb comments)

Boldly unconventional and cheerful Babou, never have cared about social conventions, she is suddenly faced with the realization that her own daughter is ashamed of her and therefore refuses to invite her to her wedding.
