A woman (Rabia Ben Abdallah) and her two daughters return to the female community on the island of Djerba from Tunis, where her husband works.

Aziza, who is usually forced to stay at home, must accompany her elderly uncle Bechir who cannot accustom himself to riding into the city on a bus to do his errands alone.
