The story of a divorced couple's fierce custody battle over their 7 daughter, and the prejudice against men that is often found in these cases. When his marriage falls apart, Michal decides to kidnap his daughter rather than let the court award custody to his mentally ill wife. As he finds out, it is easier to be a real man than it is to be a real father.

This is a funny comedy with decent acting. Shortly after WWII is over a group of female soldiers on a leave from the army are given a farm in the western Poland that was previously German territory.
