"A cute little nostalgia-fest to the movies of old. Some catchy songs which would probably become more catchy the more one hears them, but no classics. Sadly, none of the original songs appear in this movie. Was hoping for a special appearance by Julie Andrews, but sadly that was a no-go. Dick Van Dyke, however, does make a brief visit to the movie."

"Great animation and bringing Miles Morales to the screen is cool. But I probably wasn't in the right mood for this movie when I saw it. Story was a typical action-hero story. The big turn off though was that the rental was the 3-D version, without anything indicating as such, and I have no such glasses. Still watchable, but got distracting at many points. 3 out of 5 stars. "

"Cute enough but nothing exceptional. Quite ho-hum for a Disney movie. 2nd half better than first. I didn't see Wreck-It Ralph and maybe that would have made things a little better. Basically Ready Player One in a different universe."

"My favorite movie of the year so far, which isn't saying much. A slow-moving but charming feel-good story loosely based off a real story. Did it deserve all the accolades and Academy Awards it got? Probably not. Was there anything new or risky in this? No. But it was still enjoyable and worth the RedBox rental."

"Visually stunning but the story was too fast paced, too filled with stuff, or something for me and I couldn't keep up with what was happening. Or maybe it was just a confusing movie, I dunno. No idea what crime Grindelwald committed until the end."

"So much better than the first Creed. Training montage still weak compared to original Rocky films, but passable. The fatal flaw in this go-around is the ending fight. "

"I need to realize I never like Best Picture nominees. Andrew Dice Clay, Stefani Germanotta, and a bunch of famous actors star in this unoriginal romance that was about 45 minutes too long. I preferred Cooper's songs over Lady Gaga's, even though I enjoy her traditional hits. Watch the TV show Nashville instead, it's far better."

"Cuarón's semi-biographical story of his childhood nanny is a beautifully shot film with some top notch acting. The setting of Mexico City in 1970 was wonderful to see as many American movies that take place in Mexico show it as a drug fueled third world wasteland instead of the first world nation that it is. That being said, the story was quite dull and they really missed out by not further exploring the political unrest going on during the time period. "

"Found parts to be very boring and other parts to be very good. Second half better than first. Super space scenes. What killed it for me though was, in addition to the roll scenes, the shaky camera throughout, I think trying to make it look "1960ish." Got super dizzy watching this."

"Nothing much to say here, just like there was nothing much to the movie."
