An ambitious and manipulative young artist, Darcy Palmer, will stop at nothing to get her way. On the run after stealing her valuable wedding bands on the eve of her wedding, Darcy assumes the identity of a college freshman who is found dead after meeting Darcy at the airport. She continues to wreak havoc when she arrives at college and attempts to use her roommate's widower father to break into the art world. (TCM.com)
