Jack Lyons and Phyllis Chaundry are married after Jack kills Phyllis' first husband, but Phyllis is unhappy because Jack lost the crocodile dressing case her late husband was returning to her the night of his murder. When the police finally find the case, Jack identifies it based on the initials, but that just might give away his guilt.
