Also, he successfully debuted as writer, in 1977. Bogarde's last cinematic effort was in 1990, after a hiatus of twelve years off the big screen. Still, until his death, maintained a prolific literary production.

The additions by his family are invaluable, the rest not so much. The use of audio from The Servant "You've got a guilty secret..." seemed incredibly disrespectful. James Fox repeatedly calling himself beautiful and seemingly assuming Dirk fancied him was hilarious.
