wonderfully whimsical world and character designs. the characters are likable and develop throughout the series. the story is simple and compelling, prophecy and magic school variety. protagonist is unconventional, smart, and creative. animation is simple at best choppy at worst, is forgivable for the sheer visual appeal of the scenes. indpendant project created by a small art team and funded for a completed 2-part series by Apple.tv.
