Re: Your 100 PSI's?

I've only listed those that have more than 5 ratings counted in their PSIs.

Satantango PSI: 100
Shadows of Our Forgotten Ancestors PSI: 99
Beau Travail PSI: 97
Out 1, noli me tangere PSI: 97

I will do my best.

Re: How correct is the PSI?

PSIs not very accurate because many films don't have enough rankings, thus the score ends up coming from something like 3 2.xxs which is bound to be inaccurate. Still indebted to this site for helping me find films though - through sifting through the top films of those with the closest TCIs with me.

Re: Korean Films: you should see some!

"Sadly, I disagree with this entirely. Could never connect with Hong's funny yet obvious portraits of troubled masculinity, " Well I don't think Hong intends to do more than reaveal the painful awkardness of reality, which I find strangely applicable to my life ( ) and thus feel forever in...

Re: Korean Films: you should see some!

Not a fan of Oldboy, but Korean cinema is pretty great.

Hong Sang-soo and Kim Ki-young are my favourites. Kim Ki-duk is good at times but Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter and Spring is pretty terrible.

Re: Golden Globes

Shogun, ah indeed most people living in Asia have not heard of their films but this is a film site, so you know... the odds are better here. You should check out the works of Hong Sang-soo though, he is like a contemporary version of Rohmer that is more concerned with sociology than philosophy (alth...

Re: Golden Globes

Weerasethakul and Hong Sang-soo are hardly obscure, but I digress and I would not recommend (500) Days of Summer.

Then again, our TCIs are through the roof so hurrah for subjectivity.
