How do I delete a hidden/private collection?

I can understand not allowing deletion of public collections, but how do I delete hidden or private collections? I had temporarily created several of them, but no longer have a need for them.

1. Scroll over "Explore" (located at the header of any page on this site) and click "Collections."
2. Click "Your Collections," then "Your Private Collections."
3. Each collection has a plus sign (+) next to it. Click the plus sign, and you'll find the "Delete Collection" option.

To get assistance, it would be helpful to describe your problem in a more detailed way.
What exactly is broken ?
