I've been trying to recall a couple movies from the 60s/70s, so any help would be much appreciated.
1. I remember seeing Movie #1 in a drive-in theatre in the early 70s. All I can remember about the plot is that it involved a family of three (mother, father, daughter) who inhabit an island where voodoo is practiced. At one point, the daughter comes into possession of a voodoo doll that represents her father. Someone (the daughter, perhaps?) throws the doll into a fire, and the father catches fire (and dies?). The film climaxes with a volcano eruption that, possibly, destroys the island and everyone on it.
2. I only recall one vivid scene from Movie #2, wherein a man carves an "X" or "T" into a man's bare back with a knife. I believe this scene took place in a parking garage. One man forced the other onto the ground, on his stomach, then tore open the back of his shirt to carve the symbol.
Anyone?
