Please help! This movie has eluded me for 3 years of searchs

There is very little i recall about this movie.
I will list all that i can in the best detail that i can.
(any use of ? indicates i am unsure of that bit of info as i have listed it)
Any and all help and guess are VERY much appreciated.


*cast
three men (unknown i will call them Man A, B, and C)
-Man A is white and very average. (<- so helpful i know
he is the main guy in the film and follows his story (?with some narration by him?)
I keep thinking of "Porter (Mel Gibson) from PAYBACK"
(but wrong movie and wrong guy according to the his filmography)

-Man B is black short skinny(-ish?) very clean cut
(?3 piece suit? classy gangster style? )
brains of the group kind of dude

-Man C white large heavy set
Sort of the muscle of the group.
(?He is also a brainy asset to the group but i dont think he likes to talk much?)


*Plot
The movie ?starts? with our main guy "Man A" getting out of prison.
Framed by the ?Mafia/Gangster/Syndicate? he wants revenge.
While he was in prison he stayed in solitary.
His cell was between the cells of "Man B and C"
(?They learned to talk by leaving notes in the library books for each other?)
When "A" gets out ("B" and "C" got out first) he is soon attacked by ?henchmen? of the guys that framed him.
"B" and "C" save "A" (they left him a note that read ?duck/hide/get down?)
Now they all meet for the first time face to face.
"B" and "C" have been waiting for him to get out and (want to help him/have a plan) to get revenge on the ones who framed him.

all i recall after that is the ending
*Plot twist
[spoiler]The two things i know about the end are
-he uses a money scheme to lure out the ?mob/Mafia? bosses at the top using there own money
(I have learned what he does is called a "Ponzi scheme" but this is ?not? said in the movie and all searchs for movies with Ponzi schemes have failed)

and the big one
-It turns out that Man B and C are not real.
They are both a figment of Man A's imagination as a side effect of prolonged solitary confinement.
So in the end he got his revenge all on his own[/spoiler]

Guy Ritchie's Revolver with Jason Statham and Ray Liotta. I couldn't make head nor tail of the movie when I saw it.

from the link in movieboy's post i knew this was the one (watched a trailer to be sure though

this moive has bugged me for years now
i combed through so may actors filmographies
but would never have thought it was Jason Statham
