I listen to a lot of classic rock and heavy metal ( Metallica, Beatles, Pantera, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Aerosmith, Megadeth etc. ). I actually don't have a last.fm account and I'm rather ashamed of not having one.

I like to listen to 60's and 70's classic rock that leans towards the psychedelic side. Like Jimi Hendrix and Pink Floyd. I also cant forget to mention Led Zeppelin. But as of now i listen to a lot of indie rock and other modern rock music such as...

Metal and classic rock tracks mainly, but I've got a pretty broad taste in music. I've got a Last.fm account, but haven't used it in ages. As for the classic rock thing, I agree that it isn't a specific term but it's just easier to describe it in that way when you don't want to waffle on for ages.

There's a website called TheSixtyOne that I frequent. If you're familiar with Digg, imagine that, but for music.

Artists submit their songs, and users spend points to "bump" them. The more bumps a song receives, the closer it gets to the homepage, where thousands of listeners see it at once. If a song does well after you bump it, you get points back and level up--unlocking achievements and things as you go. It's a lot of fun, and it has basically single-handedly restored my faith in modern music.
