Help me figure out this movie!!

Okay, so I'm 22 years old and I think I saw this movie probably when I was like 5 or 6 years old, and I'm pretty sure it was on Pay-per-view (thanks to the little black box) remember them lol, but anyways I only remember 2 scenes. I think the opening scene was a kid or teenager carving a name or word to his arm with a razor blade and later on the movie he meets a girl which I think they travel together, and I think they make out in a gas station bathroom in another scene, also I remember they get in a fight and the girl accidentally reopens the scab where he carved himself and starts bleeding again and she says "Are you okay?" and he replies "I'm fine" or something like that. I know it's kinda weird that I remember those parts from a long time ago but it's been in my head for years and it's been killing me trying to figure out what movie it was ever since lol.
