For years, we've included the "Trending Titles" in our bi-weekly Criticker Newsletter... and we've always planned on incorporating this concept into the website. But now, we've finally done it!

Not only can you see the overall top twenty, but you can also filter on things like genre, country and Film vs. TV Series.

But what do these colorful up-and-down numbers mean? We're all about transparency here at Criticker, so we'll tell you exactly how it's all calculated:

Every Monday at 8am GMT, we count up the number of ratings that every title in the database has received in the the past 30 days. Using that information, we can organize lists of which titles are the most popular right now. And we compare the lists to how they looked last week, in order to determine whether a title has moved up or down... or is new into the list.
