A.K. Santhosh

Assistant Commissioner of Police & communist R.D. Nayanar (Suresh Gopi) quits his job & moves to Calcutta to join politics after his bitter struggle to bring Prathapa Varma (Devan) of the Ilayidathu Palace, whom he suspected of the murder of Police Commissioner Maya Pillai (Vani Viswanathan), ended in Varma & his goons brutally assaulting & crippling Nayanar. Years later, Nayanar, nominated as the new Chief Minister of Kerala after the communists win the election, returns to seek his revenge.

After Amala (Sangeetha), a nun, who was also a lawyer, gets killed, the government summons Delhi-based cop Idamattom Palackal Easo Panicker (Suresh Gopi) & appoints him as Deputy Inspector General of Police, to investigate the case & bring the murderers to justice.

Seeking revenge for her humiliation in college at the hands of spoilt brat Jayan (Jayaram), Radhika (Shobana) entraps him into a marriage with her, & proceeds to make his life a living hell. However when Jayan's cousin, Pinky S. Menon (Heera Rajgopal), shows up from Delhi & they start getting too close for comfort, Radhika gets second thoughts about her revenge plan & realizes that she does care for Jayan after all.

The Mannadiyar brothers - Gajendran (Innocent), Veerendran (Cochin Hanifa) & Narendran (Subair) - ruled large over the land of Mannadipuram, & dotted over their little sister Aarcha (Kanaka). Into this walks in lawyer Sethuraman (Mukesh), who was Aarcha's lawfully wedded husband from college, & whom she had given the slip the night of the wedding. Sethuraman becomes their family lawyer & plots to bring down to earth, Aarcha, who had become arrogant over the power she wielded over her brothers.
