Ageing rocker Brian Pern presents his guide to The Life of Rock from prehistoric man to the present day in a spoof three-part chronology of some of the biggest moments in rock history.

Discussing classic movies such as A Bridge Too Far, Zulu and Escape to Victory, the panel considers how cultural attitudes towards conflict and aggression have changed across the decades, and why so many people remain fanatical about stories involving war.
