Kunjimalu (Archana Kavi), a young girl belonging to the low 'Veluthedathu' caste comes to the house of Malukuttiyamma (Sreedevi Unni) as a maid. Malukuttiyamma's son, Haridas (Kailash), who returns home after finishing college, takes a fancy to Kunjimalu, & despite her attempts to keep a distance, finally beds her.
