Two youngsters & best friends - Kasi (Dulquer Salmaan) & Suni (Sunny Wayne) - take a road trip after Kasi loses his girlfriend Assi (Bala Hijam) after his conservative Muslim family opposes their relationship. What starts off as an aimless trip turns out to be a quest to get Assi back as Kasi & Suni make their way to Nagaland, Assi's home state.
Sachithanandan aka Sachi (Jayaram) has the perfect family, with a loving wife, Shyama (Meera Jasmine), & a daughter Kunji (Anikha Surendran). His life is turned upside down when his childhood pal Jose (Manoj K. Jayan) comes for a vacation from Dubai & coaxes Sachi into having a fling with Rose (Sarayu Mohan), a woman he had met in Dubai. Sachi backs out at the last moment & flees the hotel where he was staying with Rose, but Shyama finds out about it nonetheless, & she stops speaking to Sachi.
Aadhi (Sanoop Santhosh), the son of Bhaskaran Pillai (Mammootty),a hot-headed businessman, & Shivani (Anikha Surendran), the daughter of Hima (Nayanthara), a confectioner, take a liking for each others' parents & decide that the best way forward was for Bhaskar to marry Hima, & Aadhi & Shivani go about plotting that. Meanwhile, Hima's ex-lover, & Shivani's father, Sanjay (J.D. Chakravarthi), whom everyone presumed was dead, returns, complicating things.
The life of a young boy, Sathyadev, takes a destined route when his father becomes an incidental casualty in a scene of crime. The I.P.S. route takes away from him, a loving wife-to-be and renders a child motherless. It also gives him a prominent enemy, Victor, who makes a comeback into his life as the perpetrator when he is attempting to solve a kidnap case.
