A boogie-woogie piano introduces what purports to be a jitterbug lesson, starring prize winner Arthur Walsh, his partner, and then later various other couples. We start with steps imported from other dances, like the waltz, then sped up. Next Walsh and his partner show some basic steps, but the movements are too swift for the narrator to describe them or the viewer to learn how to do them.

A man trying to sell his moviehouse to a couple of men invites them to attend a show--where absolutely everything goes wrong, especially when Josephine the Chimp gets into the projection booth. Eventually the buyers steal the film, leading a madcap chase through the hills of Los Angeles.

While his wife (Helen Foster) is away, the husband (Johnny Arthur) attempts to clean the house which ends up being a disaster. The house is completely destroyed by an overflowing bathtub, fire in the kitchen, feathers from the pillows everywhere, and a dog (Napolean) decides to chase a cat around the house wiping out what the water and fire didn't damage already.
