The two regale each other with stories of Jules Verne and flights of the imagination. They are adventurers and explorers. But chocolate bars left by a father gone on too many business trips are counted, while the countdown to the moonlanding has already begun. The year is 1969. The father, the mother and their three kids live in a house at the outskirts of a city. There is a tall fence surrounding the house. The kids have never left the house. They are being educated, entertained, bored and exercised in the manner that their parents deem appropriate, without any influence from the outside world.

In a Greek town, during the period of the military junta, everyone gets ready for the local choirs' annual contest. On the 50th anniversary, competition is great. Chariton Ulianov, the High School headmaster and bon viveur, trains the school choir, flirting at the same time with Eleni, the beautiful and young Maths teacher. Everything changes, however, when Major Demetriou arrives at the town, claiming both Eleni and the prize of the contest with the military choir, which he trains.

The touching, tragi-comic story of Sotiris, a policeman with a deep sense of ethics who always lets off those criminals who are victims of an unfair world. His obsession with justice will be put to the test when he kills a man and falls in love with a woman. A moral fable told with minimalist humour. (mubi.com)
