Freed after 20 years in prison, the child killer Guy Beranger found refuge with the monks in Vielsart, a small village in Belgian's Ardennes. He is placed under the protection of a young Federal Police's inspector, Chloé Muller. A little while after his release, a little girl disappears.

The series follows the lives of five seminarians arriving in Paris' Capuchin Seminary and the power struggle between the seminary head and his superiors in Rome, as well as the dissonance of a medieval religious institution in a modern, secular society.

After being in a coma for 22 years, Falco wakes up to find his wife remarried and his daughter grown up. He returns to his job as a police inspector to unravel the mystery behind his condition and rebuild his life. (imdb)
