Priya (Sada) is the daughter of a wealthy gangster (Fefsi Vijayan) & is engaged to the ACP (Rahman). On the day of the marriage Priya is mistakenly kidnapped by Subramani aka "Bottle Mani" (Madhavan) & "Auto" (Vivek). The rest of the story is how Mani & Priya fall for each other and how Mani saves her from the clutches of her dad and fiancé.

A small boy (Ratnavelu) from Tamilnadu sees his father, a labor leader, killed in cold blood by a policeman. He kills the policeman and runs away to the city of Bombay. From there, the story traces his ascent to become a mafia chief (Velu Naicker), the breakup and deaths in his family, and then till his assasination at the hands of the lunatic son of another policeman who he killed in a fight. Bhaskar gets caught & in a bid to hide out & get some money to solve their problems, Sivaraman & Kadhir hideout in the house of an elderly blind couple as their long gone grandson Saravanan - except Kadhir pretends to be the body & Sivaraman the voice.

Petty thieves Krish (Karthik Kumar) & Veni (Shikha) set out to retrieve some priceless diamonds hidden 20 years ago by a rich businessman in one of a set of four chairs. Giving them tough competition in the matter is an evil trio lead by thug Veerappan (Anand Raj), who had killed the businessman & his wife 20 years ago to get the diamonds. Conflict occurs when Das's arch rival, Kamalesh (Akashdeep Saigal) opposes Das & Deva & tries to eliminate them from the smuggling business. Kamalesh, who was more ruthless than Das, turns to drug smuggling to make a quick buck & thus take a shortcut to overtake Das.

A love triangle involving young painter Esha (Elham Mirza), Interpol detective Siddarth (Nishan), & professional hitman Ajay (Rahman), set in Bangkok. Ajay falls in love with Esha & sends her lavender flowers everyday, while keeping himself away from her eyes. Esha meanwhile, mistakes Siddarth to be her secret admirer & they start a relationship, much to Ajay's sorrow. Later, the criminal gang Ajay works for, Black Tulips, contracts Ajay to kill Siddarth, complicating matters for him.

When Karthik is given a task by his producer to come up with a gripping gangster flick infested with heavy dosage of violence, he focuses on Sethu, a ruthless gangster surrounded by quirky yet scary henchmen.
