Initially, Annabel and Sander seem like polar opposites in their final year of school in the early 1980s, but when they both join the school band they connect over their love for music. However, Sander's not the only one who recognises Annabel's musical talent and when she decides to team up with Olaf, she loses sight of Sander. Until they meet again in the 1990s and they start a dance act, together with Sander's best friend Malcolm. Before they know it, Three is a Crowd is heading the charts. B
