The secretary of the main opposition party, Enrico Oliveri, is in crisis, and the polls for the upcoming electoral competition predict his defeat. One night, after yet another protest, Oliveri vanishes without a trace. In institutional settings and party the allegations follow one other. The right-hand man of the Secretary, Andrea Bottini, and his wife Anna try to discover the reasons of his escape and the identity of a possible accomplice. Finally they turn to the twin brother of the Secretary.
