The forest areas of Vestmarka and Krokskogen lie outside Oslo. In the 19th century, storyteller Peter Christen Asbjørnsen walked in the areas. The story of the area is being told, and the life in the "fairytale forest" of the 1950s, with forestry and outdoor life, is being shown.

Historic documentary about the development of the Norwegian factory town Rjukan, based on artificial fertilizers industry, now a Unesco World Heritage site. In 15 years the town was built from scratch for 1,5 Norwegian national budget.

There was a time when only half of Oslo's apartments had their own bathrooms. Because of this, the municipal baths played an important role, both for public health and sport. The municipality had the responsibility for the swimming pools, both indoor and outdoor.

Oslo has its own sanitation. This film shows what tasks workers in the sanitation have.
