In São Sebastião, the fisherman João Baleia lives with a mute, dubbed Feiticeira, who was raped by three bandits and is feared by the native population. Baleia can avenge his wife, killing the attackers and blinding a soldier, but, in instead, appears mysteriously dead in the local church, dedicated to St. Sebastian, which is reputed to brave saint door.
