The Three Investigators solve a mystery on Skeleton Island.

This family-oriented German language mystery continues the exploits of The Three Investigators, Justas, Peter and Bob, a clique of young boys. This time around, Justas's parents have tragically died, but his mother and father left behind a trail of clues. The boys duly follow the path, which leads them to California and the heart of the formidable Terror Castle - a spooky old structure that conceals a secret beyond their wildest imaginations.

Ralf (Andreas Pietschmann) goes missing during a holiday solo sailing trip. The coastguard assumes a fatal accident, but his girlfriend Martina (Stefanie Stappenbeck) believes he is still alive and starts her own investigation, which soon begin taking a toll on her nerves. Does she see Ralf or is it just an illusion? Her family and friends worry that she is about to lose her mind.

Museum curator Katharina and Eik the treasure hunter try to find Professor Bachmann, who went missing under mysterious circumstances. Soon they find a trail leading to the hiding place of the "Spear of Destiny". (imdb)

A German father’s soccer-playing son is hit by a car and dies. The father donates the boy’s red jacket to charity, where it ends up in war-torn Sarajevo. The boy’s parents are killed, and he almost is. Some UN soldiers find him, and send him to a hospital in Germany. He escapes the hospital, is hit by a car (but unhurt). The driver reads the tag inside the jacket and “returns” the boy to the grieving father.
