Audrius Mickevicius decided to make this documentary after the murder of his brother, and more particularly when, due to "exemplary behaviour", one of the killers was released after serving only five years of a ten-year sentence. In Lukišk?s Prison, he meets prisoners serving life terms but harbouring hopes of release, and also interviews the French philosopher Bernard Stiegler. Sadly, Mickevicius died of illness and the film was completed by the philosopher Nerijus Milerius.

In the back-room of her flower shop, Emma is constructing a model of a secret garden. At first, no one takes her seriously, but gradually all the characters get obsessed by this creative process. The reality of the garden takes over their lives.
