When painter Nasos Karnezis is found dead and the police arrests stockbroker Floras, Dimitris, the son of the latter from his first marriage, sure of his father's innocence, decides to find the real killer. Together with two friends of his, a journalist and a politician, he investigates the case and all suspicions fall on Myrto, the daughter of a captain, who was killed by Germans during WWII, after the painter had betrayed him.
