Journalist G. Krishnamoorthy aka GK (Mammootty) is crippled & jailed by minister Shankar (Devan) & politico Panicker (Jagannatha Varma), after GK tries to expose them for raping his friend Maria Fernandez (Sumalatha). After his release, GK helps four convicts, whom he befriended in jail, escape, uses them to pick off his political enemies & helps himself to first dibs on the news for his paper 'New Delhi Diary'.
