De Cock (Joop Doderer) is a detective in the Amsterdam police force who has seen it all yet retains an innate concern for the welfare of his fellow human beings. In this run-of-the-mill police story, he is on the trail of a gang that robbed an armored truck and killed the driver and then followed up with an inexplicable string of subsequent murders. De Cock's love interest (Manouk van der Meulen) takes part in tracking down the assassins, as does his inept assistant Vledder (Ron Brandsteder).
