Iniya

Set in 1966, Veluthambi (Vimal), a young man employed with an NGO comes to a remote arid village to teach the children there, but faces disinterest from the local populace who were engaged in brick-making, & had no interest in education. Slowly, he breaks through & convinces them of the value of education, but this doesn't bode well with J.P. (Ponvannan), the local bigwig who was exploiting their illiteracy.

Set in late 1950s Kuttanad, Guru Dasan (Lal) was a famed singer from the low-caste Pulluvar group, who had two wives, Janaki (Lakshmi Lahari) & Chakkara (Iniya). A serial womanizer, Dasan also is drawn close to Devaki (Lena), an upper-caste Brahmin & the wife of the village landlord as well. Their relationship however, results in a severe fallout for Dasan.

The film deals with a CB-CID officer JK who is already in confusion about his missing sister. By the promise of his senior officer JK decides to open the case. Riny Iype Maattummel (Biju Menon) is the right hand man of businessman Lonappan (Innocent). Over the years Riny skims Lonappan in return for getting Lonappan out of sticky situations, including murder.
