When a lifeguard catches wind of a dangerous anomaly off the coast of San Diego, she commissions a band of unlikely heroes to assist her on a suicide mission to save the west coast from total destruction.

On the last day of high school in 1959, five students learn that they will not graduate unless they work together to finish a school project. On their way to a secluded farm, crazy circumstances and bad weather trap them in a mysterious, vacant church deep in the South Louisiana swamp.
